About the MAT study
The WVACHS is partnering with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs to learn about factors that help people get into and stay in treatment for opioid addiction in West Virginia. We also want to know what factors prevent people from getting into MAT programs in our state. Our goal is to use the results to improve policy and practice around addictions treatment.
This study is approved by the West Virginia University Institutional Review Board, Protocol #2001837052.
