Research Mentorship Program

The WVACHS aims to enhance the development of emerging primary care innovators in practice-based research. A major strategy in accomplishing this aim is the establishment of a mentor/mentee initiative for research whereby coaching and support from clinician membership and research faculty are provided to health professions students and residents. This mentoring initiative will build the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the students and residents while also providing direct support and workforce to the WVACHS in designing, implementing, completing, and disseminating results from research efforts.

Stipend amount for the mentor per project is $2,500.
